​Our trained Horticulture Professionals will help you select the right plants for the right place by asking key questions about sun conditions, soil type, deer pressure, and seasonal interest.

15-min Quick Sketch - FREE​
  • 15-minutes with a Certified South Carolina Horticulture Professional
  • For a space ~200 square feet in size (i.e. 10'x20')
45-min Quick Sketch - $99
  • 45-minutes with a Professional Landscape Designer
  • For a space ~400 square feet in size (i.e. 20'x20')
You will receive a hand-drawn sketch with a plant layout and recommendations for a single space. Quick Sketches take place at our Garden Center. Get directions here.

Tips to Make the Most of Your Garden Center Visit!
The more you're able to tell us about your landscape project, the more fruitful your time spent at the Garden Center will be.

Here are some of the questions we may ask to provide you with our best recommendations:
  • Do you have deer?
  • How many hours of sun do you have in the area you are working in? Is it morning or afternoon?
  • Do you have exact dimensions or an estimate of the size of the planting area? (Photos are great!)
  • Do you know what type of soil you have? (Clay, sand, etc.)
An Example of a Space Less Than 200 Square Feet:
Because of the limited appointment time, Quick Sketches are not intended for multiple garden beds, large landscape areas, full-yard designs, drainage concerns, grading issues, or comprehensive property planning.

If your project includes multiple planting areas, covers more than 400 square feet, or requires a cohesive design for your entire landscape, we recommend booking an In-Yard Consultation with one of our Lead Design Consultants. This allows us to thoroughly evaluate your space and provide detailed recommendations tailored to your property.
