Tractor Seat Plants
Tractor Seat plants (Farfugium) are growing now for the coming season. This evergreen perennial is one of our guests' favorites. Tractor Seats are unique in that they love shade, flowers (a yellow, daisy-like flower), AND they are deer non-preferred. We will be releasing them for purchase in our Garden Center as soon as they are ready!
Sweet Grass! We grow this Charleston favorite from seed at the nursery. This hardy, perennial grass remains an attractive shade of green throughout Spring and Summer, then offers showy, cotton-candy-pink plumes in Fall. This Fall display of color catches the eye of Lowcountry natives as well as newcomers to the area, making it one of our most popular plants. 1 and 3-gallon pots of Sweet Grass (Pink Muhly Grass) are available for purchase right now at our Garden Center.
Red Cluster Bottlebrush
Our fast-growing, Red Cluster Bottlebrush shrubs offer showy, pollinator-attracting blooms. A great choice for screening or a specimen planting.
CAROLINA SAPPHIRE CYPRESS
Carolina Sapphire Cypress has silvery blue-green, fragrant foliage that's as beautiful as its name suggests. Great for privacy, a focal point, or even a living Christmas tree. Matures to approximately 20-30' tall x 15-20' wide. Part to full sun. Deer non-preferred.

Your eyes don't deceive you - This shrub has white AND pink blooms! The blooms of the fall-blooming Confederate Rose (Hibiscus mutabilis) change from white to light pink, then to a darker pink as the bloom ages.
Chaste Tree (Vitex)
Chaste Tree (Vitex) is a flowering favorite that adds a bold splash of color to the landscape late Spring into Summer. Useful as a large shrub or small, ornamental tree, the sun-loving Chaste Tree grows quickly to 10-15' tall and wide and is easily maintainable with pruning. The 15-gallon Chaste Trees in our growing fields are covered in blooms. Come for a visit - Our Nursery Professionals would love to give you a tour!
Crape Myrtle Trees
Sometimes referred to as the Lilacs of the South, Crape Myrtle Trees are hardy, fast-growing shade trees that provide weeks of colorful blooms in shades ranging from white to bright pink. We grow multiple varieties of this Southern favorite in our growing fields here at the Nursery. Visit the Garden Center soon to choose your favorite!
Attract droves of pollinators with the colorful pink, purple, and red blooms of our newest bee balm varieties. These perennial favorites are growing now and will be available for sale at our Garden Center this Spring.
SHAMROCK INKBERRY HOLLY
Small in stature, but big in versatility, the Shamrock Inkberry Holly we grow here at the Nursery is suitable for just about any spot in the landscape. This compact native evergreen shrub makes a great replacement for boxwood shrubs here along the coast as it is tolerant of wet feet. It is also disease and pest resistant, tolerant of salt, and deer non-preferred. Matures to 3-4' tall and wide, easily shaped with pruning. Adaptable to sun or shade.
The variegated hydrangeas we grow here at the Nursery have such striking foliage that it's easy to appreciate them even when they aren't blooming. Dainty lacecap blooms arise in Summer as the perfect complement to this shrub's beautiful leaves!
Elephant Ear Mojito (Colocasia)
Colocasia Mojito is one of the showiest Elephant Ear varieties we grow at the Nursery - each leaf is unique! Mojito performs well in the landscape or in containers and prefers part shade to shade. Plant now to enjoy its colorful patterns year after year!
Dwarf Yaupon Holly
This sturdy evergreen native is a tidy, mounded shrub that can be used as a low maintenance foundation planting, low hedge, or border. Once established, its tolerance of adverse conditions such as drought or occasional flooding proves to be an asset in Lowcountry landscapes. Dwarf Yaupon Holly shrubs can be purchased at our Nursery in shades of solid green or green with burgundy new growth.
Variegated Tractor Seat Plants
Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you! We are currently growing Variegated Tractor Seat Plants (Farfugium)! These cuties prefer part to full shade like their solid green cousins and grow to approximately 20" tall x 20" wide. Stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram social media accounts for notification of when they're available for sale!
