You are fast and detailed using computers, especially point of sale systems. You love talking with, connecting with, and serving people however you are able. You enjoy working hard and supporting others on your team and customers who need your help. You are extroverted, energetic, punctual and motivated. You have a passion for horticulture, gardening and inspiring others to grow.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Processes all sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Ensures that all customers have a welcome and helpful first and last impression
- Understands that safety, proactive customer engagement and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.
- Understands all Point-of-Sale functions
- Proficiency with Quickbooks Point of Sale preferred
- Has strong computer skills
- Has effective communication skills
- Assists in customer carry-outs
- Becomes familiar with product lines carried in the Garden Center
- Follows safe work practices and reports any unsafe working conditions to management
- Attends store meetings as directed by management
- Perform other related duties and assignments as requested
- Has a high level of interpersonal skills to deal with customers according to company standards
- Has the ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Is required to stand for long periods of time
- Is required to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
- Has the ability to multi-task
- Landscaping/Nursery/Garden Center Experience Important
- 2 + years of retail/wholesale experience preferred
- Working Saturdays is a must
